A bit of history

During the EDO era, the samurai trained in the handling of the Saber but also in bare hands combat .Jujutsu or Ju-jitsu. (Techniques/Arts of flexibility)

The objective was to defeat his enemy using all the possibilities of the body.

Through time, different techniques of percussion, projections, dislocations, strangulation and other so-called sacrifice techniques were developed, aiming to put the opponent fighter out of a harmful position with a minimum of effort.

Nihon Tai Jitsu draws its origins from this past war time.

Nihon Tai Jitsu is a Ju-jitsu school, created and developed by Master Roland Hernaez who is one of the most important references in the history of Japanese martial arts development in France.

Master Rolland Hernaez, with his expertise in several disciplines and his close relations with Japanese masters, has structured a logical teaching system,  adapted to everyone , allowing to explore all the richness and complexity of Ju-Jitsu .
